North Bear – “Now Ya Know”
The North Bear drum group was started in 2004 by Jermaine Bell. Originally composed of four singers, within two years North Bear’s members quickly grew to its present membership of 13 singers. Originally based in Riverton, WY, North Bear is now based in Lame Deer, MT, with the majority of its membership residing there. From the Pacific Ocean to the Great Lakes, North Bear has competed and hosted many celebrations in its brief time together, always trying their best to represent their individual tribes, families, and each other. With their new contemporary straight style, North Bear is on track to become one of the pow-wow trails hottest young groups in the years to come.
